Sunday, November 16, marked the World Day of the Poor. On this occasion, Pope Leo XIV also called on us to recognise those in need and to stand beside them.

Order of Malta Relief Organisation in Estonia offered food assistance on both days this weekend.

On Saturday, near the Central Market and on Sunday, with the Missionaries of Charity in Pelgulinn.

With colder weather and darker days arriving, a warm bowl of soup matters, but so do human presence, conversation, and the simple knowledge that someone cares. Sadly, this is not guaranteed for everyone.
