Due to the death of His Holiness Pope Francis, the beatification of Archbishop Eduard Profittlich has been put on hold.
The College of Cardinals, which met on April 22 for its first General Congregation, decided to suspend all beatification ceremonies until a new Pope is elected.
The Diocese of Tallinn will inform about the new date of the beatification of Archbishop Eduard Profittlich as soon as possible.

On Sunday, February 22, after the Holy Mass, two minibuses were blessed by Bishop of Tallinn Mons. Philippe Jourdan in the courtyard of Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral. The vehicles were donated to the Order of Malta Relief Organisation in Estonia and arrived as the gift from Malteser Hilfsdienst of the Diocese of Trier in Germany. Both minibuses are specially adapted for the transport of people with disabilities, particularly wheelchair users.
Sunday, November 16, marked the World Day of the Poor. On this occasion, Pope Leo XIV also called on us to recognise those in need and to stand beside them. Order of Malta Relief Organisation in Estonia offered food assistance on both days this weekend.
