Order of Malta Estonia supported the event for the third year in a row.
From 15 to 18 May, the Kääriku Sports Centre hosted another para sports weekend organised by the Estonian Paralympic Committee, with support from the Order of Malta Estonia.
This time, the camp brought together 16 children and young people with special needs, who made new friends and were introduced to various para-sports – including indoor curling, boccia, badminton, wheelchair basketball, floorball, football, judo, and different athletics disciplines.
The camp was honoured by visits from Estonian Olympic Committee President Kersti Kaljulaid and Estonian Paralympic Committee President Monika Haukanõmm.
Despite the rain and wind, the participants remained cheerful and full of energy. The camp participants and organizers were very satisfied with the results and definitely want to organize similar weekends in the coming years.
