On October 6, 2023, the Ambassador of the Order of Malta in Estonia, His Excellency Manfred Mautner von Markhof, met with the Mayor of Tallinn, Mr. Mihhail Kõlvart.

During the meeting, His Excellency introduced the mission, history, and humanitarian activities of the Order of Malta worldwide. He also provided the Mayor of Tallinn with an overview of the activities in Estonia, which include offering coffee and cake to those in need in collaboration with the Missionaries of Charity, organizing a parasports weekend for children with disabilities in cooperation with the Estonian Paralympic Committee, and conducting first aid courses in Tallinn schools.

The Mayor expressed his pleasure at the commencement of the activities of the Order of Malta in Estonia and affirmed that the Order of Malta is not alone in its endeavors, and can count on the support of Tallinn as a good friend.
