Order of Malta working with the Food Bank to help people in need

We are delighted to announce that the Order of Malta Estonia has partnered with the Food Bank (www.toidupank.ee), an organisation that works to provide food aid to people in need.

Volunteers from the Order of Malta Estonia visit the Food Bank twice a month to help assemble and distribute food bags of salvaged food to those in need.

Feedback from volunteers on the work done by the Food Bank has been very positive:

“Helping those in need makes me feel grateful for everything I have. It’s a great change of routine and spirit. There’s a great sense of joy and positivity when you see grateful people.” shares Paul, 36.

“Volunteering has given me a lot of positive memories, new friends, experience and skills, as well as valuable work experience. I like helping people out of free will and volunteering at the Food Bank allows me to contribute to my community,” says Aurelia, 14.

We are very grateful to all the volunteers who have given their time and energy to help others and make the world a better place, thus supporting the mission of the Order of Malta.
